Crack kills

No seriously...I think it does!!

I may be a bad person for posting this...but I couldn't help myself.

The beach at Seaside

So, my friend Yvonne invited us to go on a trip with her to Seaside, Oregon. Derek and I both took days off of work, as did Alisha and we all came down to Seaside. I love the Oregon coast. I grew up coming here in the summer and have lots and lots memories here. So, we are staying in a condo so we have two bedrooms and a kitchen so it has been relaxing and entertaining. We have several more days left but since I realized how long it has been since I last blogged I went ahead and put some posts up. I'll put more up soon. Anyway, here are some pics of the kids feeding the birds and our trip to the aquarium. Tomorrow we are going to cannon Beach and possibly Tillamook. It should be a lot of fun.

Piercing

So, I thought about getting my cheek pierced when we were in San Francisco but Derek talked me out of it. So, Alisha and I were shopping in Seaside when we saw a piercing shop and I decided to go ahead and get it done. Holy crap!! I would never do such a thing. I did however decide to get Addie's ear pierced. Derek and I have been talking about it for awhile and we were walking by Claire's and decided to do it. Addie was all excited about it and picked out her earings. She wanted pink ones. She was so excited to have pretty ears. We were very lucky and were able to have two ladies do it at the same time instead of each one seperately. It was perfect.

Here is Addie waiting for us to finish the paperwork
Aunt had some candy for Addie.
Addie loves candy, especially before getting her pretty ears.
She kept doing this although I'm not sure why. She wasn''t scared or worried she just kept doing it whenever we asked if she was getting pretty earrings.
Her hair is clipped back and out of the way. The other candy was too sticky and messy so she got a lollipop.
Getting her ears cleaned
Getting dots on her ears.
The final preparations
Addie sitting tight while we are planning
Figuring out who goes where
Ready, Set, Go!!!
It took her a few seconds to realize that it hurt. she didn't actually cry but she made some great faces.

All done with pretty ears!!

See my prett ears. This picture doesn't show it but she is so proud of her ears and will randomly tell us that she's pretty. It is quite cute.

Holey Moley

I cannot believe I haven't blogged in almost a month. No cool points for me. Well, to make up for it I have lots and lots of pictures for you. I will put them in a few different posts for you. So here is the first set of pics for you.

This is not the first time we have found Addie like this, just the first time we have pics of it. How hilarious is this??
Derek and a friend of ours were trying to get our new TV installed and so were using the crawlspace. Ethan wanted to go down there so bad. Notice the the cups in his pocket...those were to cover his mouth in case he couldn't breathe. He got himself all dressed so even though I decided he couldn't go down there I couldn't resist.Addie had to try out Dad's new snowboard to make sure it worked. She approves.
Addie is ready for anythingPoor Ethan had this rash for days. I gave him benedryl and put some benedryl cream on it. Finally, after several days of this weird rash I took him to see the doctor and found out he had Fifth's Disease. Not a disease at all, just a weird virus. It is highly contagious but has very mild effects. He felt a little sick for about half a second and then had this horrible rash. He's all better now though. Yay!!

Ethan and Olivia (one of the neighbor girls) had a play to go to at school. It was a field trip. They both wanted to dress up so this is what they wore. How stinking cute are they??Ninja Ethan.
