It's been awhile

Hey guys!! I am so sorry it has taken me so long to put something up here. We have just been really busy, yet nothing major has been going on. I seem to be shopping a lot trying to get Ethan ready for school. I am lucky it's only kindergarten though. He doesn't care what he wears to school.

For the past week Ethan has been up at my parents' house. It was so weird not having him here. The house was so quiet. He's the perfect son, too. He'd get on the phone with us and tell us how much he missed us but then tell us about his day. I don't have any new pictures of him except the one I'm putting up. Soon we will though. Ashley is coming back on Wednesday so hopefully she'll be our own personal little photographer again. The picture I am putting up is from today. My parents took us out to lunch for his birthday and they sang to him and took his picture. So, that's the picture I put up. It was hilarious watching his face as they sang to him. It went from normal, to complete confusion, to something close to fear to smiling during the few minutes they sang. It was his first birthday at a restaurant experience.

So, we have a big week coming up. Tuesday is Ethan's birthday. I have all of his birthday shopping done. Yay!! Then Wednesday Ashley is coming out here and then on Friday we leave for the Dave Matthews concert at the Gorge. We're going Friday and Saturday nights. I am so excited. I think the group we are going with will be a lot of fun too. I'm bringing the kids too. Ethan is super excited. We are taking him to the concert instead of having a birthday party this year. I just hope one of the nights he plays Dream Girl, which is one of his favorite songs. It will be a good weekend.

Well, I am going to go ahead and upload some pics. I think I am starting to just ramble on and on. I hope everyone is doing well. I will add more soon. Ciao.

Cranky Day

So, we all had a cranky day today. I think we are all just too tired and can't get caught up on sleep. So, what am I doing??? I'm staying up late and messing around on the computer. Oh well. We did have something exciting happen today. You will have to watch the video and find out for yourself. I have some videos on the side but I'm going to try and put one up here. When you check them click on the tab to make it full size or else it will stay distorted.

We've got some stuff getting ready to change soon. Ethan starts soccer up again in a few weeks. That is always fun. I will be switching clinics I work in at the beginning of September. I'll work for the same hospital but just at a different clinic. The new clinic is only 5 minutes (literally...Derek and I timed it tonight). away from our house. How can you beat that? Ashley is officially moving out here now. The ticket has been bought. We are very excited about that. Laura is getting closer to having her baby. It's starting to freak me out a bit. I don't have an offical plan yet to cover while she's out. If you have any suggestions...

Derek and Ethan went camping last weekend and left me and Addie at home. I'm including pictures of the trip. They did a hiking trip so they only camped with what they could carry. Ethan only had to carry his sleeping bag so that left Derek and our friend Steve with everything else. They had a blast. Meanwhile, Addie and I stayed home and went school clothes shopping for Ethan. Kindergarten is the most exciting and heartbreaking thing ever. I am totally going to be the parent who follows the bus to school. I guess I won't actually follow the bus but I'll put Ethan on the bus and then sit in the school parking lot until I see him get off the bus.

Can't forget a sleeping baby picture
Sorry guys, I tried but I can't figure out how to include a video. Check out a video link instead to the right. Love ya!!!

Fair Pictures

So, on Wednesday Laura took the kids to the Thurston County Fair. Its not a huge fair but had rides, games, animals and fair food. All the important stuff. Laura is so brave taking a 4 year old and two babies out in public at all. She gets all sorts of weird looks carting them all around. I keep telling her to tell people that yes, the 4 year old, the 8 month old and YES the 11 month old are all hers, along with the baby in her belly. Its amazing me the things that people think. So anyway, I thought I would share some pictures from the fair and some sleepy pics.

Happy Hump Day

So, I haven't been able to add stuff to my page as easily because the website was blocked at work but it seems to not be blocked today. So, here's some pictures I found that I had intended on putting up a while ago but forgot to. I need Ashley to get back here so we have more pictures. WE MISS YOU ASH!!! I realized I never put up the pictures from when Alisha took Ethan to the Kangaroo Zoo up in Arlington. I think I put one picture up but that's it, so here's more. Plus a couple of cute ones of Addie.

Nothing new here. Derek might take Ethan on a hiking camping trip. Which means bare necessities for camping instead of car camping where we take everything but the kitchen sink. It should be fun for them. I'm sure they will come back covered in dirt and grime and I'll have to scrub Ethan clean. Hopefully Derek will take the camera and get some good pictures. That will leave just me and Addie at home. I think Addie needs to stay out of the woods for a while. The last time when Derek took her camping she came back so full of snot, it was sad. I think she has allergies just like the rest of us. Poor girl. Happy hump day everybody. Ciao.
