TGIF

I hope everybody has had a good week. Our week hasn't been too bad. We joined the YMCA a few days ago. Derek and Ethan want to take Karate or Taekwondo classes and we found them to be pretty expensive so we decided to check out the Y. Derek gets in free because he's military so that really cut down the cost and all their classes are free. So once the next session starts up again we'll get all signed up for classes. We took the kids there yesterday to go swimming. (We were both in the water so I didn't get any pictures. Lame, I know.) Addie liked the water but couldn't stop shivering. It was weird though because she wasn't cold. She was so cute when we went into the showers. She stood under the shower just like a grown up and I think she'd have stayed there all night if I would have let her. So we might go swimming again sometime this weekend since we have the ability to do it more often now. Plus they have a rock wall and a couple of kids activity areas. It should be fun. So, let's see what kind of pictures I have for you...

Great Weekend

So, I've got lots of pictures for you guys today. We had a good weekend so I thought I could share the pictures with you today. So, on Friday the weather was beautiful after so much rain this winter. You couldn't help but try and think of something to do outside so Laura decided to
take the kids to the park in downtown Olympia. On her way home it was lunch time and she decided a picnic was a great idea so I went and got some picnic food and met them at the park by our house. Ethan was a great big brother as usual and played with Addie on the little kid toys, helping her up the step and down the slide. It was so sweet.

Friday night after Derek and I got off of work we headed up to my sister's house for game night. She had a friend that came up from Portland for a weekend visit that we also wanted to see. On Valentine's Day Alisha and Stacy stopped by a stand on the side of the road and got a zillion stuffed animals for $10. In that bunch of animals they got a huge gorilla and hippo. My sister was sick of them and wanted to throw them out but kept them for a few extra days so that the kids could play on them. They were big enough to ride on so I have some pictures of that. One with my mom and one with our friend Janel. Silliness!!!

Here's a couple of pictures of the kids with our friend Wes. He's one of our favorite people from Portland. We haven't seen him in so long and it was so much fun to hang out with him this weekend. WE LOVE YOU WES!!!

After we got back from Everett Derek took Ethan camping. He didn't take very many pictures but this one was pretty cute. Now that we have a camper I'm guessing we'll go camping a lot and so we'll have lots of pictures like this over the summer.

So, I hope all of you had a great weekend. Enjoy your week.

Mondays Stink!!!

So, we had a busy weekend around the house. Between cleaning up after the kids and my husband, grocery shopping, laundry and a new addition to our house I feel like the weekend flew by. So, the new addition tour house...We have a mud room where we keep our shoes and stuff but we are never able to keep it organized. Derek made a suggestion a few weeks ago about building another closet in that area. I knew that building something could create all sorts of problems between us so I thought of getting a large wardrobe to put in that space. I went to Ikea and found a wardrobe that was 8 feet tall and fit almost perfectly into the space we wanted it. So, now our shoes, coats, games and whatever else we want organized is beautifully behind closed doors. It is awesome. I love Ikea.

The kids were sick this weekend too. They both had the flu. Fortunately it wasn't the throwing up flu, just the fever type of flu. They were both so miserable. I think they are better now. Yay!!

Well, here are some pictures for you. I will put some videos up tonight.
The kids were waiting for me to get home from work
Cutie Pie Girl
Ethan got ahold of the camera and found out that if you move the camera it makes weird blurry images. He took 12 of these. Then he took a picture of himself and 17 pictures of his webkins.
She fell asleep randomly eating lunch
Derek took the kids climbing. Videos will be up soon
My kids are so dang cute and sweet

Happy Tuesday!!!!!!!

Here's some pictures of the kids for you. I love this first picture. Our kids love to snuggle and it is the best.
So, these pictures are of Ethan's project. He was trying to make a ride for Addie and after several attempts he finally came up with something. On one hand I was thinking "Whoa. This could be dangerous!" But the kids were having so much fun I didn't have the heart to make them stop. Ethan had it all figured out. He even made a seatbelt. They had a blast and nobody got hurt. Whoohoo!!
Laura got these cookies for Ethan during an after Valentine's Day sale and they finally got to them yesterday. My favorite cookie he made was of Addie. It had a mouth, nose and eyes and then had little devil horns for her little devilish ways. This little girl is very clever and it often ends up with her causing trouble. It could be bad if she wasn't so dang cute. So, most of the time we end up laughing at her little antics. She usually gives us a little sweetheart look, looking up through her eyelashes, before doing something crazy. So here's his cookie making skills!!
