Some fun pics for the week.

So, I thought I should put up some more pics. I haven't in a while. So, here they are.

This is Ethan's Piano but Addie loves to play with it too. Don't worry mom I am still trying to get him into lessons.
Addie had a very cranky evening. She wouldn't take a nap so she spent most of the evening crying because she was soooooo tired.
Daddy always makes all things better.
Cranky girl!!Playing with Play-do. A rare occurance because I HATE play-do
She wanted to but could not get that shirt off of her head
The tickle fest. I am so glad I didn't get sucked into this one.

13 Coins

So, my dad called me on Saturday to tell me that they were having Clara withdrawls and so we needed to meet for Breakfast/Lunch. Ethan got to learn the meaning of brunch. It was cute explaining it to him because he ended up actually having a brunch meal with a sandwich, eggs, toast, omelette and a sundae. Now, I know that my parents were missing me but I also know that they were really missing the kids. But I am all about them making me feel good and giving me the credit for being missable. :) So, we decided to meet at 13 Coins. It is a very yummy restaurant and they have recently opened one up by the airport which is in between us so it was perfect. The restaurant has been around for ages. My mom knew about it back in the day when she lived in Bellevue growing up. It is really a cool place. The backs of the booths go up to the ceiling giving each booth lots of privacy. Even the bar seats give privacy because they are really tall and if you turn to face the person you are with you kinda create your own little room. The food is excellent although if you order entrees it gets quite pricy. We stuck with lunch and breakfast stuff so it wasn't too bad. I got a bowl of french onion soup, which ended up being a whole bowl of cheese with a little bit of the broth. Not very diet friendly but so yummy. Anyway, we had a great time and I got some fun pictures while we were there.

Ethan was very excited to get his cast signed by his grandma and grandpa. He had pens in their hands before they even sat down
Addie somehow figured out that her monkey self could lean on the table and climb up the back of the booth. She did this a lot. I'm sure she doesn't get that from me at all.Ethan and Addie dancing in the aisle.
Ethan wanted to give Addie a piggy back ride so bad. It is so cute watching them together.
The restaurant is on International Pkwy so there is a lot of cement there but it did make for some fun pics.
Auntie even jumped like a lepruchan

Ethan's room

So after weeks and months of being an annoying wife and buying lots of fun stuff for it I have finally gotten started on Ethan's room. I have some of the stuff on his walls. I should be able to finish it tonight. I got the walls painted, Derek got the bed up. I put some vinyl on his bed. I think it will be finished tonight with a little help from Derek and Ethan. I am pretty proud of the walls. It didn't take me too long to get it figured out. I am so hoping it will be together tonight.

This bed used to be my bed. My mom wanted me and Alisha to have bunk beds so she talked to my Great grandfather..."Grandad" and he came up with these bunk beds. They are actually two separate beds that also go together to be bunk beds. We made a few changes so that it worked for us. Instead of putting on the bottom bed we left it open so that it would just be a stilted bed for him. I will be adding some stuff to it to give it the look of a pirate ship. So cool. let me know what you think.

Charlie's Safari

On Friday we met up with Laura and Logan after ages and ages of not seeing them. So sad. We decided to meet up at Charlie's Safari which is a kids play place with blow up bounce house type things, a giant play structure, an arcade, laser tag and mini golf. Since Ethan has a broken arm he couldn't really play on anything so he hung out in the arcade but Kason and Addie went crazy in the blow up section. It was a lot of fun.

Laura was having fun playing with Addie throwing her up in the air. Her little boy who is a year younger than Addie is bigger than her so she was having a blast tossing her up in the air like a
Addie was running down the slide. She keeps getting braver and braver!!
I love this picture. Isn't it awesome. Addie quit trying to maul him after the first picture.

Running Away

So a couple of weekends ago Addie decided to run away. She wasn't mad or anything she just wanted to go. It was late and cold outside. So, she put on Ethan's shoes and found her coat and took off. Like I said she wasn't mad or anything and was smiling and laughing the whole time. I figured I'd let her do her thing and she'd get cold so I followed her along for a few minutes. My favorite picture is the last one. It is so cute. Finally she got cold and turned around and came back. I think she may have wanted a snack too. Beware...this is one of many posts today.
